Special trains introduced by Indian Railways for Amarnath Yatra pilgrims
To assist with the 57-day Amarnath Yatra and make travel easier for passengers, Indian Railways has started running special train services connecting Jammu and Srinagar. As the number of devotees heading to Kashmir increases, authorities have implemented strict security protocols, Aadhaar-based identity checks, and on-site registration options for new pilgrims. The pilgrimage, which kicked off on July 3, is set to wrap up on August 28.
