Environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk has shed 8.2 kg as his ongoing hunger strike, held in solidarity with the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), reached its 17th day this Tuesday. Medical reports indicate his blood pressure is currently 107/70 mmHg, with a blood glucose reading of 67 mg/dL. Previously, Abhijeet Dipke of the CJP noted that Wangchuk is beginning to experience a loss of muscle mass.
