Smriti Irani questions silence of 'smash patriarchy' advocates over cleric's remarks on women

BJP General Secretary Smriti Irani targeted Congress MP Rahul Gandhi regarding his previous 'smash the patriarchy' statement. She questioned if those who championed that slogan have spoken up after a Muslim cleric recently suggested that women ought to remain indoors. Irani further challenged them by asking if they were aware of Naiki Devi, the historical figure who triumphed over Muhammad Ghori.
