Siwan SP transferred by Bihar government following AK-47 protest incident
The Bihar administration has moved Siwan SP Puran Kumar Jha out of his post following the uproar caused when suspended constable Abhishek Kumar brandished an AK-47 during student demonstrations on July 25. Previously, state police informed the Supreme Court that the constable had been caught in the middle of the protesters and discharged four shots into the air. Jha is currently awaiting his next assignment.
