Sikkim sets up task force for residents impacted by Nepal floods
The Sikkim administration has established a task force dedicated to supporting state residents who are currently missing or stuck following the flash floods in Nepal. Led by Prabhakar Rai, the Director of the Sikkim State Disaster Management Authority, the team will work alongside the Central government, the Indian Embassy in Nepal, and various other organizations. Their primary goal is to confirm the status of individuals who are injured, deceased, stranded, or otherwise impacted by the disaster.
