Shiv Sena corporator attacked me because I was the only male doctor, says victim

A doctor who was reportedly attacked by Shiv Sena corporator Ramesh Mhatre at a hospital in Thane, Maharashtra, stated, "I was the only male doctor there, so I became their punching bag." The victim reported being struck multiple times on his face, head, chest, and stomach. Following the incident, he has quit his position and relocated from the city.
