Sheikh Hasina plans to return to Bangladesh in December, says she is ready to face arrest or death

Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who is facing a death sentence in her home country, has declared that she will surrender this December alongside other party members. She stated, "They might arrest me when I return, or they could even kill me." She further remarked, "If I am to die, I want it to happen on my own land, the place where my parents are laid to rest."
