Shashank Singh explains his shift from Chhattisgarh to Puducherry
Punjab Kings player Shashank Singh is set to represent Puducherry instead of Chhattisgarh for the 2026-27 domestic cricket season. He claimed that the Chhattisgarh State Cricket Sangh failed to support him while he was recovering from a major injury last year. Shashank stated, "I was told that I only want to play in IPL, and not for Chhattisgarh in domestic cricket." He further mentioned that he was left out of the Chhattisgarh Cricket Premier League held this year.
