Scientists identify new monkey species with orange lips
Researchers have officially confirmed the discovery of a new monkey species found in the forests of the Democratic Republic of Congo, distinguished by its unique orange lips. Florida Atlantic University PhD student Junior Amboko, who helped spearhead the expedition, described the animals as being quite shy. The team has officially classified the monkeys under the scientific name Colobus congoensis.
