SC rejects plea against restrictions on inspecting UP and Rajasthan govt schools
The Supreme Court has dismissed a PIL challenging the restrictions placed by Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh on social media influencers and YouTubers inspecting government schools. The petition was filed after CJP activists were assaulted in Rajasthan during a school inspection for their "School Thik Karo" campaign. Under the existing rules, prior written permission is mandatory for taking photographs inside government schools.
