SBI to update cash withdrawal fees for savings accounts starting October
Starting in October, the State Bank of India (SBI) is set to adjust the fees for withdrawing cash from Basic Savings Bank Deposit Accounts at bank branches. Customers will be allowed four free withdrawals every month. Once this limit is exceeded, the bank will apply a charge of ₹15 per transaction, along with the relevant GST. These specific savings accounts do not require a minimum balance and come with a total balance cap of ₹50,000.
