Manas Vajpayee, who worked at SBI, is accused of murdering his wife, Divya Mishra, right outside an ICICI bank branch in Lucknow. Following the incident, he returned home, took his sister's life, and then committed suicide. Manas had alleged that Divya was unfaithful. The couple had been married for 12 years, though they had been living apart for more than a year, and Divya had already initiated divorce proceedings.
