Sayani Gupta calls festival's decision to drop her film 'unfair'
Actress Sayani Gupta has described the Indian Film Festival of New Zealand's decision to cancel the screening of her directorial debut, 'Aasmani', due to copyright claims as "deeply unfair." She maintained that her film was an original creation developed without any awareness of similar projects. "It is distressing to see this being framed as a copyright dispute when that is not the case," she stated.
