Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of swapping the Delhi Police Commissioner to ensure activist Sonam Wangchuk could be taken into custody. On Friday, the Home Ministry named IPS officer Anurag Kumar as the new Delhi Police Commissioner, taking over the role from Satish Golcha. AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj further alleged that the administration removed Golcha abruptly due to a sense of panic.
