Samsung is set to prohibit smart TV applications that utilize proxy code to allow outsiders to access a user's home internet connection. Recent security analysis indicates that certain apps involved in this practice claim to be active on hundreds of millions of devices. Among the identified software was a version of Pac-Man that had previously received official promotion from Samsung.
