BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra has announced that his WhatsApp has been compromised. He warned the public not to transfer any funds to individuals requesting money under his name. According to NDTV, one of their journalists received a fraudulent message from Patra’s account requesting a UPI payment of ₹55,000. The scammer declined when the reporter suggested handing over the cash in person.
