Sam Altman disagrees with Elon Musk's view on the future of money
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has pushed back against Elon Musk’s recent claim that money will become irrelevant within a decade. Musk had suggested that by then, society would either have collapsed or AI and robotics would have ended scarcity. Altman stated, "Clearly, I think money will still matter." He added that while AI is expected to significantly lower the cost of many goods, he does not believe it will automatically resolve the issue of wealth inequality.
