Saatvik Green Energy to set up 3.6 GW solar cell plant
Shares of Saatvik Green Energy dropped 7.11 per cent to ₹397 following the announcement that its subsidiary inked an MoU with the Odisha government’s IPICOL. The agreement is for the development of a 3.6 GW solar cell manufacturing unit in Gopalpur. This Phase II expansion is slated for FY28 and will build upon the company’s current Phase I capacity of 2.4 GW for cells and 4 GW for modules. The company’s stock is currently trading at a PE ratio of 20.3.
