Russia starts buying Indian gasoline to tackle fuel scarcity
To address fuel supply issues triggered by Ukrainian drone attacks on its oil refineries, Russia has started importing gasoline from India via sea routes. So far, a minimum of 60,000 metric tonnes has been delivered. The Russian government aims to source 400,000 tonnes of fuel every month from various nations. In the meantime, India set a new record for Russian crude oil imports in June, with volumes exceeding 2.70 million barrels daily.
