Russia offers proposal for India's ₹50,000-crore S-400 missile deal
According to an ANI report, Russia has sent a formal proposal to India for the procurement of five additional S-400 Sudarshan long-range air defense squadrons for the Indian Air Force. Defense officials informed ANI that the total value of this deal is expected to exceed ₹50,000 crore. The S-400 systems were instrumental in defending against aerial strikes from Pakistan during Operation Sindoor in the previous year.
