Russia names former Indian CJI DY Chandrachud as arbitrator for Oschadbank case
Russia has selected former Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud to serve as its arbitrator regarding an investment treaty conflict initiated by the Ukrainian state-run lender, Oschadbank. The three-person panel will be led by Dyalá Jiménez, an arbitrator from Costa Rica. Oschadbank is pursuing damages for financial losses incurred in the regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia following the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war in 2022.
