RSS responds following Mamdani's opposition to Mohan Bhagwat's New York program
Following New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's statement that he does not 'support' the event featuring RSS leader Mohan Bhagwat in New York, RSS spokesperson Sunil Ambekar responded by saying, "The event reflects Bharatiya ethos which is fundamentally inclusive and welcoming to all." Mamdani, the son of filmmaker Mira Nair, expressed that his vision for India is that of a "secular republic." In contrast, Ambekar described the scheduled gathering as an inter-faith event.
