RGV on Sridevi: I don't dwell on the deceased, but I wish she would return

When questioned about remembering the late Sridevi on her birthday, director Ram Gopal Varma remarked, "I never think about people who have passed away. Once they are gone, they are no longer a part of my life." Varma added that he does wish for Sridevi to return to the world just once, explaining, "So that humanity would realize she truly existed."
