RG Kar victim's mother slams lack of progress in case
Ratna Debnath, mother of the RG Kar rape-murder victim, has raised concerns over how the accused were able to obtain bail before any witnesses were questioned. She voiced her frustration regarding the CBI investigation, claiming that the legal proceedings have stalled even after a change in government. In 2024, the court granted bail to former RG Kar principal Sandip Ghosh and former Tala Police Station officer Abhijit Mondal.
