Retired Himachal doctor gifts ₹80 crore estate to Hamirpur medical college
In a remarkable display of generosity, 77-year-old retired Senior Medical Officer Dr. Rajendra Kanwar has handed over his entire collection of movable and immovable assets, valued at more than ₹80 crore, to the Dr. Radhakrishnan Government Medical College and Hospital in Hamirpur. Dr. Kanwar had originally designated the government as the beneficiary of his estate in 2021 and has now finalized the handover by signing a formal Gift Deed.
