According to a study featured on Research Gate, experts have mapped out a flight path allowing a spacecraft to shadow Halley's Comet as it makes its closest approach to the sun in July 2061. The findings suggest that the gravitational pull of Jupiter and Saturn could assist the craft in traveling alongside the comet for several years. To make this mission possible, the vessel needs to be launched no later than 2040.
