Researchers create biological data centre model with 16 million human cells

A team of scientists in Singapore has created a prototype for a Biological Data Centre that utilizes living neurons grown from stem cells to handle data and assist artificial intelligence. This system features 20 biological computing units, with each unit housing approximately 800,000 neurons, totaling 16 million cells per rack. These biological cells function while consuming significantly less energy than standard digital computing hardware.
