Research reveals black holes frequently eject matter instead of just consuming it

According to a University of Warwick study, black holes don't actually swallow everything they attract; instead, they expel significant quantities of matter back into the cosmos. By examining a black hole that was releasing material through intense winds, scientists discovered that the volume of matter ejected can be just as substantial as the amount the black hole absorbs.
