Report: Salman Khan was once cast as Lord Ram in a movie that was never finished

While fans wait for Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming 'Ramayana', it has emerged that a previous attempt to film the epic featured Salman Khan as Lord Ram and Sonali Bendre as Sita. The project was abandoned after about 40% of the production was completed. Salman had signed on for the role of Lord Ram back in the 1990s, with Sohail Khan attached to direct the film.
