Report: Iran covertly sent $6 billion in oil to China amid US sanctions pause
According to a Wall Street Journal report, Iran managed to move 70 million barrels of crude oil, valued at approximately $6 billion, to China while US restrictions were temporarily lifted. Throughout a one-month period ending in late June, Iranian tankers reached a designated transfer area near the eastern coast of Malaysia to offload the cargo via large hoses. The report further noted that this oil was subsequently delivered to refineries in China.
