Report: Chinese firm provided materials for 1,300 Russian kamikaze drones
Jilin Chemical Fiber Group, a state-run company in China, reportedly sent 46 tonnes of polyacrylonitrile to a sanctioned Rosatom branch in Russia. This amount of material is sufficient to produce carbon fibre for 1,300 suicide drones. The cargo was officially labeled as civilian goods for customs purposes. In response, the Chinese embassy in the United States dismissed the allegations, stating that claims of Beijing assisting Russia’s armed drone project are intended to “smear China."
