Report: 27 suggestions from post-NEET 2024 committee remain pending
According to an HT report, the central government has yet to act on 27 out of the 101 suggestions provided by the K Radhakrishnan Committee, which was formed following the NEET-UG 2024 dispute. Currently, 57 recommendations have been completely put into effect, 10 have been partially adopted, three are currently being processed, and four have been declared but are awaiting execution. Significant reforms that are still pending include transitioning to a computer-based, multi-session format for NEET and restricting the NTA's role to conducting entrance tests.
