RBI fines Hinduja Leyland and four other firms ₹45.34 lakh
The Reserve Bank of India has levied penalties amounting to ₹45.34 lakh against five different entities, Hinduja Leyland Finance being one of them. TransUnion CIBIL faced the steepest fine of ₹26.82 lakh due to its failure to follow guidelines regarding customer compensation for delays in fixing or updating credit data. Additionally, penalties were issued to Equifax Credit Information Services, CRIF High Mark Credit Information Services, and Sammaan Finserve.
