Ravneet Bittu supports parole for grandfather's assassin to visit sick mother
BJP leader Ravneet Singh Bittu has expressed support for granting parole to Jagtar Singh Hawara, who was convicted for the 1995 bomb blast that killed Bittu’s grandfather and former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh. Bittu stated that Hawara should be allowed to see his unwell mother, noting that a mother should not face humanitarian suffering due to the deeds of her son. Beant Singh lost his life in the 1995 assassination.
