Rare Sumatran tiger cubs arrive at Greek zoo

A zoo located near Athens, Greece, is celebrating the birth of three Sumatran tiger cubs, a species currently facing the highest risk of extinction. The litter, consisting of two males and one female, arrived in early July. On Tuesday, the cubs were given their initial vaccinations and fitted with identification microchips. With widespread deforestation destroying their natural habitat, there are now only about 400 Sumatran tigers left in the wild.
