Rare cave pearls found by researchers in Vietnam national park

Researchers have identified unique cave pearls inside Thang cave, frequently called Victoria cave, located under the limestone peaks of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in Vietnam. These pearls are created as mineral-heavy water continuously deposits layers of calcium carbonate onto small grains. These geological features provide experts with a way to examine groundwater flow, limestone cave structures, and long-term geological development.
