Rajasthan introduces GMHAT to boost mental health services
To enhance mental health support, Rajasthan has rolled out the Global Mental Health Assessment Tool (GMHAT), which focuses on digital screening and identifying issues at an early stage. This online system generates diagnostic reports and links individuals to psychiatrists through telemedicine services. The tool was first implemented at AIIMS Jodhpur, Jodhpur Medical College, and Jaipur Medical College, with plans to extend its reach throughout the state in the future.
