Rajasthan: IAS officer converts 78 abandoned government structures into libraries
In Rajasthan's Dholpur district, IAS officer Nivrutti Avhad has repurposed 78 unused government buildings into digital libraries for local students. These facilities, known as 'Samvidhan Ghars', currently serve about 5,000 registered students. Each library is outfitted with smart TVs, computers, CCTV surveillance, clean drinking water, and restroom facilities. A local panchayat leader remarked, "We never imagined our children would sit in AC rooms and study."
