Rajasthan: FIR registered after Dalits forced to leave chairs for floor at I-Day program
The Rajasthan Police have registered an FIR following complaints from several Dalit individuals who claimed they were ordered to give up their seats and sit on the ground during an Independence Day celebration at a school. Rameshwarlal Bairwa, a complainant in the case, stated that an individual questioned them by asking, "What right do you have to sit in front of us?" He further mentioned that the experience left them feeling mentally distressed.
