Raja Singh claims financial rift caused Konda Surekha's ouster
Goshamahal legislator T Raja Singh has alleged that a disagreement over the distribution of funds resulted in Konda Surekha being dropped from her position as the Forest and Endowments Minister of Telangana. Surekha was removed from the cabinet following controversial statements made by her daughter regarding Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The Congress leadership had ordered her to step down. During a meeting with party president Mallikarjun Kharge, Surekha maintained that she should not be held accountable for her daughter's remarks.
