Pune auto fares set for hike to ₹30 following RTO approval

The Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Pune has given its nod to a plan to adjust autorickshaw rates. This proposal is now headed to the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) for the final sign-off. Should it get the green light, the base fare for the initial 1.5 km will go up from ₹25 to ₹30, and the rate for every additional kilometre will increase from ₹17 to ₹20.
