Pune-area building collapse in Moshi leaves 8 dead, 14 saved
Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Vijay Suryawanshi confirmed that the number of fatalities from the building collapse at the Moshi waste processing site has reached eight, while 14 individuals trapped in the debris have been pulled to safety. He noted that one person remains unaccounted for, and a rescue mission involving roughly 15 pieces of heavy machinery and specialized demolition equipment is currently underway. The structure gave way after a large pile of trash collapsed onto it.
