Proposed bullet train network to cut Delhi-Lucknow travel to 2 hours
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that a new bullet train project could slash travel time between Delhi and Lucknow to 2 hours and 12 minutes, while the trip to Patna would take roughly 4.5 hours. The planned route is expected to connect Delhi to Agra in 58 minutes and reach Prayagraj in approximately three hours. Additionally, the travel duration from Delhi to Varanasi is projected to be around 3.3 hours.
