Proposed bill to oust arrested PMs and CMs after 30 days moves forward

According to an Indian Express report, the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) reviewing the 130th Constitution Amendment Bill is scheduled to finalize its report on July 17. It is expected that the document will keep the provision allowing for the removal of the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers, or other ministers from their posts if they remain under arrest or detention for a period of 30 days in a row.
