Prithviraj Kapoor, Ranbir's great-grandfather, once portrayed Lord Ram in 'Seeta'
The iconic actor Prithviraj Kapoor took on the role of Lord Ram in the 1933 movie 'Seeta', which was backed by the East India Film Company. This Bengali production made history in 1934 by becoming the initial Indian talkie to be showcased at the Venice International Film Festival. Nearly 100 years later, Prithviraj’s great-grandson, Ranbir Kapoor, is set to step into the same character for Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film, 'Ramayana'.
