Pritam Rani Siwach and her son Yashdeep Siwach have created history by becoming the first mother-son pair to compete in the Hockey World Cup. Pritam previously played in the 1998 Women's Hockey World Cup in the Netherlands. Years later, Yashdeep played his first match in the same country during India's Men's Hockey World Cup 2026 opening match against Wales. "Since childhood, I've been surrounded by hockey," Yashdeep had said.
