Praveen Chithravel and Selva Prabhu Thirumaran secure silver and bronze in CWG triple jump

At the 2026 Commonwealth Games (CWG), Indian athlete Praveen Chithravel earned the silver medal in the men's triple jump, recording a top distance of 16.58 metres. His compatriot, Selva Prabhu Thirumaran, claimed the bronze medal in the same competition after achieving a jump of 16.52 metres. The gold medal was taken by Jamaica's Jordan Scott, who finished with a jump of 16.72 metres.
