Prashant Kishor maintains 6,000-vote lead in Bankipur bypoll after 10 rounds
Jan Suraaj Party chief Prashant Kishor is currently ahead by more than 6,000 votes in the Bankipur Assembly seat in Bihar, following the completion of 10 out of 31 counting rounds. BJP's Neeraj Kumar Sinha is in second place with 14,048 votes, while RJD nominee Rekha Gupta follows with 3,983 votes. This by-election was triggered after the seat was vacated by BJP leader Nitin Nabin following his election to the Rajya Sabha.
