Prashant Kishor complains to EC against Patna SSP for holding party workers
Jan Suraaj chief Prashant Kishor stated that his organization has submitted a formal complaint to the Election Commission regarding the Patna Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP). He accused the official of unlawfully holding party members and supporters in custody throughout the Bankipur by-election. Kishor alleged that approximately 54 individuals were taken into custody during the two-day silence window prior to the polls, asserting that these people had not breached any regulations or Section 144 of the CrPC.
