Power, not water, is the main hurdle for India's AI data centre growth
According to CleanMax Managing Director Kuldeep Jain, improvements in cooling systems have largely addressed concerns about water usage in India's AI data centres. He noted that the primary challenges now are electricity supply, grid planning, and the creation of specific development areas. Jain suggested that upcoming data centres requiring gigawatt-level power ought to be built near renewable energy sources instead of inside cities.
